Our Survival Rice is specially aged to a specific length of time and double vacuum sealed for extended shelf life, taste and nutrient retention. Its unique and specific properties allows it to be stored for a very long time and used immediately in an emergency years later. Extra long grain Non-GMO 100% pure White Basmati rice smells of deliciously distinct light earthy aroma when cooked. Great for bugg-out bags, emergency preparedness, camping and emergency survival. If stored in vacuum packs in sealed containers it can be preserved for 30 years at 40F (4.4 Celsius) or 20 years at 77F (25 Celsius) in a kitchen pantry in room temperature. Shelf life after packet opened: 12/2025.

★Cooking Directions: To achieve longest grains, soak 1 cup of Survival Rice in warm water for 20 minutes then strain. Put the rice in 5 cups of boiling water and boil for 15 minutes. Strain well and serve. For larger servings, use more water accordingly as Survival Rice absorbs great amounts of water. You can add salt, oil or seasoning to taste while rice is cooking. Goes exceptionally well with vegetables or meat. Can be cooked without pre-soaking as well and served without oil or seasoning.

Tips: Store the vacuum sealed bags in a cool, dry place such as cellars, basements or kitchen pantry. Keep a bag in your boat, RV, truck, sleeping bag, camping gear,cabin, hunting or road trips.
